DONORA Ė Samuel A. Capone, 64, of 648 Thompson Avenue, Donora, died suddenly Thursday, August 14, 1975. Born in Donora on May 9, 1912, Mr. Capone was the son of the late Antonio and Cosima Scaccia Caponecchia, and spent most of his life in Donora. Mr. Capone and his brother Joseph owned and operated Caponeís Restaurant and Bar in Donora since 1933. He was a graduate of Donora High School, class of 1930, Assistant Chief of the Donora Fire Company and a member of the fire department since 1936, a member of the Washington County Firemanís Association, the Western Pennsylvania Firemanís Association, the Donora Eagles 502, The Monessen NIPA, the Loyal Order of Moose and the Donora Sportsmanís Club. He was a member of the Saint Charles Church of Donora. Mr. Capone was preceded in death by his first wife, Theresa Cappelli; one brother Marco and one sister, Margaret Vigliotti. Surviving are his wife, Alice Hageman Capone; one brother Joseph V. Caponecchia of Donora; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Battilana and Mrs. Ann Morich, both of Donora. Memorials may be made in Mr. Caponeís name to the Heart Association. Funeral Arrangements are being made by the Lawson-Rabe Funeral Home, 701 Thompson Avenue, Donora.
Friends of Samuel A. Capone, 64, of 648 Thompson Avenue, Donora, who died suddenly Thursday, August 14, 1975, are being received at the Lawson-Rabe Funeral Home, 701 Thompson Avenue, Donora, from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday where prayers for the dead will be held Sunday at 8 p.m. Prayer services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at the Saint Charles Church of Donora, Rev. Albert Koser officiating. Interment will be in the Monongahela Cemetery.
